On your mark. Get set. Shop! For your favorite The Great British Baking Show fan, that is. Forgive me geeking out a bit, but I’ve been an avid watcher ever since Paul and Mary showed up on my television, and now I’ve welcomed Prue with open arms. I miss Sue and Mel, but Noel and Matt will do. Because ultimately, it’s all about the perfect bake.
If you know someone like me, who has watched enough to think they might be able to pull off their own from-scratch gingerbread houses this year (gulp), then here are some Great British Baking Show gift ideas you must take a look at before the holidays are here.
I think Paul would give any of them a handshake (if, you know, they could shake hands).
Order these soon; you just have time for them to get here by Christmas!

This post has been updated for 2021. Though, why is there no Team Chigs apron?
Along with Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith’s new Love to Bake cookbook, they’re adding another one to the mix (heh, get it?). You can pre-order A Bake for All Seasons now and have it in time for the holidays! Several of our favorite contestants have cookbooks too: consider Baking with Kim Joy, The New Way to Cake by Benjamina Ebuehi, and Time to Eat by Nadiya Hussain.
Star Baker apron
If your mom, dad, or favorite uncle makes to-die-for cinnamon rolls, or your partner makes a mean loaf of sourdough, they deserve their very own Star Baker apron from Humor Style, too.
For the fan who loves to try those Technical Challenges at home, a specialty piece of bakeware like a tart pan, a madeline pan, a popover pan is a terrific gift. Or, get them the very same Mason Cash cane mixing bowls (above) that the contestants use on the show. It’s under $30 — or 22.46 Pound Sterling.
“On Your Marks…” Matt + Noel mug
I kind of feel like I can take on the day if it starts out with Matt & Noel cheering me on. This On your marks, get set, bake!” mug from Pony Chops Design will likely be the closest way I get get to that, making it a terrific gift for any Great British Baking Show fan.
You Only Have to Be Not the Worst mug
I’m also loving this Prue Leith mug, which basically applies to all of life, not just baking, right?
An online baking class
Private cooking lessons from a great pastry chef in your area are an incredible gift idea gift for a Great British Baking Show fan. Ask in your neighborhood social media groups for suggestions, or call a local bakery and inquire whether they offer baking classes over Zoom. You can also try the MasterClass French Pastry Fundamentals course by Dominique Ansel (yes, I know it’s French and not British).
If you know someone who can pull off Noel’s fashion, get them one of Noel’s famous bowling shirts courtesy of Lazy Oaf. This is the very one he wore in Collection 8, Episode 4: Chocolate week. And yes, I knew that without even looking it up.
“No One Likes a Soggy Bottom” tea towel
This might just be one of my all-time favorite sayings from the show. How cool is this typography tea towel from Spoonflower Home on Etsy? Such a great hostess gift!
