Good morning, sunshine! Can’t wait to get the kids off to school so that you can savor your morning coffee? Well, we can make your morning joe even sweeter without any sugar, because in honor of #NationalCoffeeDay, today’s coffee can be free. As in, you don’t have to choose between groggily making it yourself or sucking it up and paying $4. You can do both, minus the $4 part!
Today is a good day.

Let’s start with Krispy Kreme since they upped the ante and turned National Coffee Day into National Coffee Weekend. Nice move, and donuts too.

Getting your free cup at Cumberland Farms will take a little bit of work… but, really, just a little. Text the word FREECOFFEE to 64827 to receive a mobile coupon, which you can use to get a free coffee at any location in the Northeast and Florida.
There are many more options, and you can get the full list of places participating in #NationalCoffeeDay here. But note one big omission: Starbucks is not giving out free coffee today. Instead, they are using the weekend to highlight ways in which our coffee purchases have made a difference in supporting ethical and sustainably sourced coffee.
Cool, though I wouldn’t mind a free frappe. (Just saying!) Maybe next year.
