We love encouraging you to make your own coffee goodness, whether it’s cold brew, the perfect cup of French Press coffee, a coffee milkshake, or even coffee cocktails. But we also know that you love a good seasonal Starbucks coffee drink. And who are we kidding: We’re suckers for those too. So, as our gift to you on National Coffee Day, here is the ultimate guide to the fall Starbucks menu. From new menu items to secret orders, we’ve got all the fall flavor.
Featured fall drinks
Let’s start with the usual suspects, including a new fall menu item. This year, you can, of course, get a hot or cold Pumpkin Spice Latte or Salted Caramel Mocha. Additionally, you can order the new Chile Mocha, which is flavored with cocoa, cinnamon, and vanilla with a dash of ancho and cayenne chile spices. For the record, we are so into that.
10 ways to customize your fall drink
If you think that your soy milk, one pump, extra shot latte is the pinnacle of customization, get ready to have your socks knocked off. Starbucks shared 10 delicious ways to customize your drink this fall and the possibilities are blowing our minds. Like, make that a White Chocolate Chile Mocha (pictured). Or if you want fall coffee flavor in a refreshing tea drink, order a grande black tea with coconut milk instead of water with two pumps of pumpkin spice syrup, two pumps of cinnamon dolce syrup, and a dried orange slice. That would be a Fall Iced Tea, thank you very much.
Other possibilities: Make yours a Pumpkin Spice Chai or, if it’s been that kind of day, get either a Salted Caramel Pumpkin Spice or a Java Chip Pumpkin Spice Frappucino. They are real, friends. Very, very real. And so are the five other customizations that you need to check out right now.
The secret menu item that will rock fall breakfasts
Move over secret rainbow iced teas, we’re warming fall mornings up with the secret menu Oatmeal Latte. It’s breakfast and coffee in one, and we’re sold. Order an oatmeal using steamed milk instead of water and add one or two shots of espresso. Steep, stir, and enjoy. If you think this is not possible—or if you’re having any doubts as to how delicious it is—check out more detailed instructions and pics at PopSugar (pictured).
A new dairy-free option
And there’s a new bonus for those of you who prefer plant-based milks: In addition to soy and coconut milks, as of the end of this month, you can get any of your drinks made with almond milk at Starbucks locations throughout the United States.
