When he’s crawling on the floor, my son shows a reckless abandon for tasting new things. Dust bunnies? Yum! A stray clove of garlic? Why not!? A rotting leaf I’ve tracked in from outside? Bon appétit!
But even though he’ll put literally anything he finds on the floor into his mouth, he refuses to try new or — surprise, surprise — healthy foods.
