This week’s weekly meal plan recommendations are here, and we’ve found some easy meals to get you through the rest of the week. And since it’s the middle of summer, we’re loving these grilling recipes. They keep the oven off and the kitchen cool while you enjoy the weather outside.
So grab a pen, make your shopping list, and stock up on ingredients before the weekend’s over to make your weeknights that much easier.

These Sriracha Lime Chicken at Averie Cooks are spicy, so I’d serve them up with something cool — a side salad, some fruit, or maybe even slice them up for fajitas or taco salad with guac. Bonus: when we serve chicken breasts sliced at our house, we only need 2-3 chicken breasts for my family of 6. Budget saver!
If you haven’t tried grilled salad yet, it’s definitely worth the effort. This Grilled Caesar Salad at This Savory Vegan is yummy enough to be a main course, but if you want some extra protein you could also grill up some fish or steak on the side while you’re at it.
My kids love meatballs! Maybe it’s the bite-sized portions that makes them so kid-friendly. But these Grilled Meatballs with Mango Salsa at A Zenful Appetite look so good — and they’ll freeze well. So make a bunch at once, and serve them different ways throughout the month: wrapped in pitas with tzatziki sauce, in lettuce wraps, or on kebabs!

We love DIY foil packs for camping, but they’re also great for dinners at home on the grill because everyone gets to choose their own ingredients. Start with this recipe for sausage foil packs at Chelsea’s Messy Apron (which we featured in our favorite foil pack dinners roundup), and then let the kids include the ingredients they want. Fun and tasty, yay!
I’ve been dying to try our very own Jane’s tips for making Grilled Pizza, and this might be the week to do it. This is another great meal that puts kids in the role of chef, letting them roll out their own dough and choose their own toppings for their pizzas. This one is part dinner, part fun family activity.
OMG, these Grilled Nectarines with balsamic glaze at Inspired Edibles are such a luxurious, decadent dessert that takes very little effort. Perfect if you’re having guests over. They’re sitting over a cloud of labneh — a cream made from kefir that tastes like a mix of sour cream and yogurt. Perfect tang to go with the caramelized sugars of the fruit.
